Preform Solutions, Inc. in Sioux Falls is hiring full-time Material Handlers to support our plastics manufacturing operations.

You will work with raw materials, monitor lines, perform quality checks, and move finished goods into inventory, with opportunities for day, night, and weekend shifts. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, a friendly team atmosphere, and shift differentials for qualifying shifts.

Qualifications

• Experience in warehousing, production, or material handling.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production materials and load resin or other materials as needed.
• Move products using sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack.
• Quality check and quality audit products to ensure high-quality finished goods.
• Record quality information on company documents and in electronic tracking system.
• Move finished goods into inventory and record location.
• Stack finished goods into columns and build boxes/lids.
• Maintain a clean work environment.
• Use company smartphone to scan and record information about finished product and inventory.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Overtime may be available with management approval.

Preform Solutions, Inc. is a trusted manufacturer of custom plastics for the packaging industry, with over 25 years in Sioux Falls.

We currently are hiring full-timeMaterial Handlers. We have a variety of shifts (see below) including days, nights, and weekends. This is a great position for high energy self-motivated and detail-oriented individuals that enjoy a fast-paced production environment. The primary task of the Material Handler is to work with raw materials, monitor production lines, complete quality checks, and move finished goods into inventory.

JOB DUTIES

• Monitor level of production materials and load resin or other materials as needed
• Move products using sit-down forklift and/or pallet jack
• Quality check and quality audit products to ensure high quality finished goods
• Record quality information ontocompany documents and in electronic tracking system
• Movefinished goods into inventory and accurately record location
• Stack finished goods into columns
• Build boxes and lids
• Maintaina clean work environment
• Use of company smartphone during work time to scan and record information about finished product and inventory
• Assist other departments as needed

Overtime may be available by picking up extra shifts with management approval.

Training:

Training schedule is Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm for approximately 3 weeks. Once training is complete, new employee would move to the shift they are hired to work. No rotating shifts, shifts are set hours.

Available shifts:

Weekday Nightshift--$1.25/hour shift differential

• Monday-Wednesday 7pm-7am
• Thursday 7pm-1am

Weekend Nightshift--$2.50/hour shift differential

• Friday 1am-7am
• Friday-Sunday 7pm-7am

Work may be required on holidays that fall during regular work schedule; additional pay will be applied per company policy.

COMPENSATION

• Quarterlyattendance bonus; receive additional pay for being on-time
• We offer a competitive starting wage of$22/hour starting base pay +applicable shift differential
