Qualifications

• Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Proficiency in operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory-related tasks.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Understanding of food safety regulations and quality standards (GMPs, HACCP, ODA, OSHA – Training provided).
• Must have a basic understanding of English verbal and written comprehension.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming shipments and record arrivals accurately.
• Inspect and verify quality and quantity against purchase orders and packing slips.
• Safely unload delivery trucks and transport goods to storage areas.
• Organize inventory to optimize space and accessibility.
• Assist in picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment per customer specs and deadlines.
• Operate warehouse equipment (forklifts certified, pallet jacks) safely.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the facility; assist with sanitation.
• Collaborate with team to meet department goals and adhere to safety and quality policies.
• Work varied shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
