Job summary

Torrey Holistics is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the Cary location. The role requires operating sit-down or stand-up forklifts, moving materials to high shelving, and performing RF scans and inventory counts.

You will assist with receiving, shipping, and general warehouse duties to ensure accurate inventory and efficient production flow. The position is full-time, with first shift hours and consistent Monday–Friday work.

Qualifications

• Must have 1–2 years of accident-free forklift operation.
• Experience moving product from floor to shelving up to 5 levels high with forklift.
• Experience with inventory counts and RF scanners.

Responsibilities

• Receive items and verify against orders; unload trucks with sit-down forklift and document items.
• Move materials to warehouse shelving and keep lamination/slitting supplied.
• Prepare and ship orders; load/unload materials; inspect items for acceptance.

Warehouse Associate-Cary locationWarehouse Associate, Cary LocationRequired Experience1-2 years of accident-free forklift operation. Sit down or stand up fork truck operation required. Must have previous experience with moving product from floor to shelving units at least 5 levels high with a forklift and experience picking product from stacked shelving and delivering to machines with forklift Must have previous experience doing inventory counts and using RF scanners Must have experience with shipping and receiving like loading and unloading materials from trucks with forklift, reading and creating shipping labels, etc. Ability to repetitively lift 35 to 60 pounds from floor to shoulder and 10 to 35 pounds from should to overhead. Push from 200-400 pounds with cart, hand truck or pallet jack. Must be able to measure and interpret measurements up to a 1/16th of an inch using rulers, and have good basic math skills with ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide with ease. Must be able to work independently and be reliable Must be able to read, write and orally communicate in EnglishPosition Info:Salary- $19 to $20/hr, based on experience**Hours – 1stShift – 7:30 am to 4:00 pm M-F **Training – 7:30 am to 4 pm, M-FResponsibilities:This position has the following responsibilities:Receiving – verify items coming in match what we are expecting, unload trucks w/sit down forklift, review items to make sure they are acceptable and sign documentation, scan items into inventory and move to warehouse shelving units with forklift.Keep lamination and slitting going by pulling material for them from Warehouse and delivering to machines.If lamination makes rolls, the WH Associate will put bar codes on the rolls and put them on the shelving using forklift.All locations do inventory counts.685 and 975 pull materials from shelving to bring to production floor.Shipping - prepping orders for shipmentPutting away used materialsThe general maintenance of all warehouse areasYou should be proficient in:Shipping/ReceivingMaterial Handler ExperienceMachines & technologies you'll use:Forklifts
