Job summary

OneSource Distributors, part of the Sonepar family, is seeking a Warehouse Associate in California. The role involves receiving and processing orders, moving materials, and preparing parcels for shipping. A high school diploma or equivalent is expected, with 6 months of related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Electrical, Industrial and/or distribution experience preferred but not required
• Clean driving record

Responsibilities

• Read orders such as customer, work, shipping and transfer orders to determine products to be moved, gathered or distributed
• Convey material and products from receiving area to storage or other designated areas
• Scan, sort and place material on racks, shelves and/or bins according to predetermined warehouse location
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place on pallets or shelves; or convey orders to packing station or shipping department
• Prepare parcels for mailing.
• Complete cycle counts and verify quantities of stock on request
• Backup driver on an as needed basis
