Job summary

Revere Electric Supply seeks a Warehouse Associate (or Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver) in Madison, WI. Hours are 8:30 AM–5:00 PM for Warehouse Associate and 6:00 AM–2:30 PM for Backup Driver, with a comprehensive benefits package and PTO.

Local candidates only, no relocation. Responsibilities include picking and packing orders, stocking, inventory control, safe work practices, and occasional driving to other businesses.

Qualifications

• Basic warehouse experience
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Must read and write in English
• RF scanning experience preferred

We have an opening for a Warehouse Associate or Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver at our Madison, WI facility.

No relocation will be provided. 2 Weeks of Time Off in the first year plus paid Holidays! Warehouse Associate Hours: 8:30 AM 5:00 PM Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver Hours: 6:00 AM 2:30 PM.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and complete orders for delivery or pickup per schedule (load, pack, wrap, label, ship).
• Receive and process stock products (pick, unload, label, store).
• Perform inventory controls and keep quality standards high.
• Keep a clean and safe working environment and optimize space utilization.
• Operate and perform preventative maintenance on warehouse vehicles and equipment.
• Occasionally the Warehouse/Back updriver fills in making deliveries to other Businesses.
• Other Businesses. Perform Other Associated Responsibilities As Assigned
• Sub for driver routes when they are out.
• Complete order receipts.
• Stock shelves, racks, cases, bins, and tables with new or transferred merchandise.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts.
• Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or on computer.
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
• Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
• Issue or distribute materials, products, parts, and supplies to customers or coworkers, based on information from incoming requisitions.
• Receive, unload, open, unpack, or issue sales floor merchandise.

***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Requires basic experience warehouse, picking and packing experience, under close supervision. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods Must have good math skills (add, subtract, multiply, and divide) Experience with RF scanning, a plus Good organization and time management skills Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. periodically A valid driver license and clean driving record Must be able to read and write in English as it pertains to the job and safety requirements. Pay range: $18-$20/hr. based on experience This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, and skills. For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in an incentive or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives.
