Revere Electric Supply Co. in Hartland, WI is seeking an Operations Associate as a Supply Chain/Logistics Operations Apprentice. The program rotates through Material Management, Procurement, Logistics and Distribution, Inventory Control, and Transportation to build broad experience.

Local candidates only; no relocation. Compensation is $28.50-$33.50 per hour plus a benefits package, PTO, holidays, and a 401(k) with company match.

Qualifications

• Preferred: Bachelor of Science, Business or Supply Chain, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a distribution environment processing transactions.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and ability to multi-task.
• Good computer skills (Microsoft Office); EPICOR, Eclipse experience a plus.
• Excellent team player with strong customer service and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with strong math skills.
• Willing to work overtime; local travel required.

We have an opening for a Supply Chain/Logistics Operations Apprentice. The core of the apprentice program consists of rotating job assignments through main segments of the supply chain such as the following: Material Management Services, Procurement, Logistics and Distribution, Inventory Control, and Transportation.

What you will do:

The incumbent will work in several departments within the Operations organization to gain an understanding of the processes, procedures, and capabilities of the Company. Including operations, management viewpoints and company policies and practices affecting each phase of business. Each rotation starts with setting goals based on the competencies sought in a leader. These competencies include Self-Confidence, Commitment, Initiative, Communications, Problem Solving, Flexibility, Systematic Planning/Organization, Ethics, Decisiveness. Expectations:

• Meet performance (SMART) goals and objectives set by upper management and determined upon accepting position
• Report on progress of goals and objectives
• Monitor performance progress with management and key trainers
• Observe experienced workers to acquire knowledge of methods, procedures, and standards required for performance of departmental duties
• Train in functions and operations of related departments to facilitate subsequent transferability between departments and provide greater promotional opportunities
• Provide support as needed in the various departments, including reporting, data-entry, presentation creation, strategic planning, customer service as needed

Compensation $$28.50/hr. - $33.50/hr.

This amount is what we reasonably believe we will pay for the position; however, offer amounts may vary based on factors such as geographic location, relevant education, experience, qualifications, and skills.

For eligible positions, compensation may include participation in an incentive or sales compensation plan paid according to achievement against sales targets and/or business objectives.
