Job summary

The Salvation Army USA Western Territory is seeking a Warehouse Associate / Backroom Processor for the Anaheim (Katella) Store. You will sort, inspect, and route products, maintain stock, and support safe, efficient store operations.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, basic reading/writing skills, and the ability to follow written and verbal instructions. The role includes full-time schedules, weekend/holiday coverage, and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Demonstrated competency in skill area as indicated by verifiable training and/or experience.
• Ability to read and write and to understand and follow both written and verbal instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sort products according to TSA policy.
• Provide quality assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify products and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collect merchandise from distribution center and transport materials.
• Follow safety measures established by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed for the operation of the total program.
• Overtime requires written supervisor approval and timecard notation.
• Other duties as assigned by Store Manager or designee.

As our enthusiastic and hardworking Warehouse Associate / Backroom Processor, you will be responsible for (but not limited to):

• Sort product efficiently and properly according to the standard of TSA policy.
• Provide Quality Assurance by inspecting products for defects and damages.
• Identify product correctly and direct to proper department for processing.
• Collecting merchandise from the distribution center and safely transporting materials.
• Follow safety measures established and maintained by TSA policy and government regulations.
• Maintain confidentiality as needed and required for the operation of the total program.
• Overtime: Any and all overtime must have the written approval of the supervisor. The supervisor's initials must appear on the timecard besides the overtime hours.
• Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned, from time to time by the Store Manager or their designated representative

Pay Rate: $16.90 per hour

Schedule:

• Our stores operate 7 days per week, work schedules are determined by Management and employees must be flexible to always ensure adequate store coverage.
• Full-time employees may be scheduled to work any full-time shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
