Job summary

Continental is seeking a Warehouse Associate to ensure smooth daily warehouse operations in Jackson, Michigan. You will accurately pick and pack orders, organize inventory with FIFO, and load/unload trucks for routes while maintaining safe, clean work areas.

The role requires basic math, English proficiency, and comfort with iPads and inventory systems. A high school diploma or GED is required, with forklift certification encouraged for advancement.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Ability to understand, speak, read, and write in English.
• Comfortable using technology (iPads, inventory systems).
• Basic math skills (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Ability to operate or willingness to learn electric pallet jack; forklift certification encouraged.
• Consistently accurate and efficient order processing.
• Strong attention to detail and organization.
• Effective communication with team members and supervisors.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude and commitment to service excellence.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pick and pack orders using technology (e.g., iPad, LightSpeed system).
• Organize and maintain inventory using FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
• Load and unload trucks for routes and markets.
• Replenish stock and maintain clean, organized work areas.
• Read schedules, work orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved or distributed.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies to team leaders.
• Record accurate inventory counts of products picked, packed, scrapped, and excess.
• Follow all safety protocols and company guidelines.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
