Overview

A growing distribution company in East Brunswick, NJ is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks, with a strong focus on safety and efficiency. Spanish language skills are a plus.

Key Responsibilities

1. Material Handling: Load and unload shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment.
2. Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company standards.
3. Inventory Management: Assist with cycle counts and inventory tracking to ensure accuracy.
4. Shipping & Receiving: Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for damage or discrepancies.
5. Warehouse Maintenance: Keep work areas clean, organized, and hazard-free.
6. Safety Compliance: Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including OSHA standards.
7. Other Duties: Perform additional warehouse-related tasks as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating forklifts and pallet jacks (required); forklift certification is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic English communication skills; Spanish fluency is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, with a strong work ethic.
