Job summary

Daimler Truck North America is seeking a warehouse associate in Whitestown, IN for first shift. The role involves picking, packing, and preparing material for shipment in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Starting pay is $22.02/hour with quarterly gainsharing potential. Benefits include 401k matching, vacation, holidays and tuition assistance. Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• PIV experience such as Forklift, Reach Truck, or Order Picker.
• Previous warehouse experience.
• Must be capable of repetitive hand manipulation, grasping and supporting tools.
• Must be able to stand on concrete for entire shift with repetitive bending, stooping, twisting, reaching and lifting up to 75 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Perform physically demanding warehouse duties including repetitive processes, moderate to heavy lifting, the use of machinery, and following standardized work procedures.
• Actively participate in improving work area in terms of safety, quality, attendance, productivity, suggestion activities, housekeeping, and throughput.
• Operation of Voice Directed Picking Equipment.
• Operate power vehicles such as a forklift, reach truck and order picker to a height of 24 feet.
• Communicate effectively with others within and outside the work group.
