Job summary

Caterpillar Inc. is hiring for a warehouse associate on the 3rd shift or the weekend shift in Menominee, MI. You will move parts, load and unload, weigh parts, pull orders, stage shipments, and handle shipping and receiving with minimal supervision.

Operation of a forklift, stretch wrapper, and dock leveler is required, with safety as a priority. SAP experience is a plus and a resume is required for consideration.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of material handling equipment experience.
• Minimum of 6 months of prior warehouse experience.
• Beginner level of proficiency operating computers.
• Resume or work history required for consideration.

Responsibilities

• Moving parts or materials, loading and unloading parts, weigh counting parts, pulling customer orders, staging shipments, shipping, receiving.
• May perform receiving inspection and may expedite orders with Schedulers to ensure proper materials are in house.
• Operation of a fork-lift, stretch wrapper and dock leveler and other warehouse equipment.
• Must work safely in all aspects of the job.

Shift:

3rd Shift: 8pm-6am Monday - Thursday ($18.60/hr + $1.00 premium)

Weekend Shift: 6am-6pm Friday - Sunday (20.67/hr + $1.00 premium)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum of 6 months of material handling equipment experience
• Minimum of 6 months of prior warehouse experience
• Beginner level of proficiency operating computers
• Resume or work history required for consideration

Top Candidates Will Also Have:

• Previous SAP experience
• Strong organization skills including the ability to follow a standard process and multi-task responsibilities
• Prior experience working in a team environment
• Intermediate proficiency in shop math

Summary Pay Range:

$18.60 - $23.20 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
