Job summary

Ryder Supply Chain Solutions in Whitestown, Indiana is hiring Warehouse Associates for temporary to permanent positions. The role offers weekly pay, a 2nd shift from 5:00 pm to 1:00 am, and involves handling electronic repair parts with RF scanners and pallet jacks.

You will work in clean, organized facilities with a focus on safety and teamwork, starting with on-the-job training and provided safety gear.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Six months of related warehouse experience required.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Powered industrial truck certification is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
• Basic math and safety procedures in English are required.
• RF scanners and pallet jacks experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Package, kit and/or assemble orders and materials.
• Load and unload inbound/outbound trailers; ensure scanning is done correctly.
• Help train dock staff on new procedures and maintain security.
• Perform picking and packing duties; conduct material moves as required.
• Keep assigned area clean and organized; follow policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
