United States Cold Storage, Inc. is seeking a 2nd shift Warehouse Associate in Quakertown, PA. The role involves operating warehouse equipment, using RF scanners, and performing picking, put-away, loading, and unloading tasks while maintaining product integrity.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED and forklift/warehouse training is a plus. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with assistance, with standard safety and productivity

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse equipment (RF scanners, tablets, and related devices)
• Perform picking tasks, lifting up to 50 lbs and handling lots with care
• Perform put away, loading, and unloading tasks while maintaining product integrity
• Maintain sanitary work environment and follow safety rules
• Follow established procedures and productivity standards
• Work on 2nd shift: Mon-Fri, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
• Drive a vehicle for daily requirements and travel per business need

The Job Details:

• Use of warehouse material handling equipment, which may include pacers, walkie-riders, high reach (preferred), pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Perform assigned functions by utilizing RF and scanning devices.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment by utilizing clean as you go techniques.
• Operate equipment in a safe manor.
• Follow established work procedures and work rules, while maintaining established productivity levels.
• Perform picking task which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
• Perform put away tasks, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
• Perform loading and unloading tasks, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.

• Reports To: Warehouse Supervisor
• Travel Amount: 10%, Road Warrior if Applicable

What We Are Looking For:

Education

Other Abilities You Will Need to Have:

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Be able to speak and hear for safety and productivity
• Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
• Ability to lift overhead
• Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand
• Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
• Have acceptable and / or correctable vision
• Work in an atmosphere range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level
• Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high
• Good arithmetic and reading skills
• Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies
• A self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others
• Work in a fast pace environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines
