United States Cold Storage Inc. in Quakertown, PA is seeking a second-shift warehouse associate to join our team.

You will operate pallet jacks and other material handling equipment, use RF scanners and tablets, and ensure accurate picking, put-away and loading tasks while maintaining safety and quality standards. The role requires physical stamina, the ability to lift up to 50 lb regularly (70 lb with assistance), and good arithmetic and reading skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Forklift experience or warehouse training is a plus.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and up to 70 lbs with assistance.

Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse material handling equipment (pacer, walkie-rider, high reach preferred, pallet jacks, order pickers).
• Perform tasks using RF and scanning devices.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work environment (clean as you go).
• Operate equipment in a safe manner and follow work procedures.
• Follow safety and productivity guidelines while maintaining quality.
• Perform picking tasks with lifting up to 50 lbs (and protect lots/product).
• Perform put-away tasks maintaining lot/product integrity.
• Perform loading and unloading tasks maintaining product condition.

The Job Details:

• Use of warehouse material handling equipment, which may include pacers, walkie-riders, high reach (preferred), pallet jacks and order pickers.
• Perform assigned functions by utilizing RF and scanning devices.
• Maintain a sanitary work environment by utilizing clean as you go techniques.
• Operate equipment in a safe manor.
• Follow established work procedures and work rules, while maintaining established productivity levels.
• Perform picking task which may include lifting up to 50 pounds, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
• Perform put away tasks, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.
• Perform loading and unloading tasks, while maintaining the integrity of lots and product condition.

What We Are Looking For:

Education

Other Abilities You Will Need to Have:

• Bend and lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
• Lift up to 70lbs with assistance on an occasional basis
• Stand and walk for extended periods of time
• Use hands to handle objects, tools, or controls
• Be able to speak and hear for safety and productivity
• Use scanners, tablets, radio, phones, and other warehouse machinery
• Ability to lift overhead
• Ability to work overtime is an essential part of this position due to demand
• Drive a registered motor vehicle to satisfy daily requirements
• Have acceptable and / or correctable vision
• Work in an atmosphere range of + 50 to - 30 degrees F with a moderate noise level
• Personal interaction and communication required to and from other people is extremely high
• Good arithmetic and reading skills
• Understand and follow verbal instruction, written instruction and company policies
• A self-starter that can work independently and coordinate with others
• Work in a fast pace environment with the ability to manage stress and productivity guidelines
