Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. in Prescott, WI is seeking an Order Selection team member to accurately pull customer orders in our warehouse.

You will identify pick locations, lift and stage pallets, and operate motorized equipment like Electric Pallet Jacks while maintaining safety and efficiency. This role requires reliability, the ability to work Sundays, and attention to detail to ensure correct items, UPCs, and quantities are prepared for shipment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 20–60 lbs consistently.
• Able to work in varying temperatures.

Responsibilities

• Identify pick locations and safely pick items.
• Inspect equipment for safety issues.
• Pick correct item and quantity, check UPCs/descriptions.
• Label cases and shrink-wrap pallets with required information.
• Stage pallets in proper bay and build stable pallets.
• Inform supervisor of safety concerns and policy violations.
• Operate pallet jack/pushcart safely and efficiently.

What does it mean to be a part of the Order Selection team?

In this fast-paced role, you are the boots on the ground and responsible for accurately and efficiently pulling customer orders within the warehouse. This role requires strategic thinking and attention to detail while palletizing orders and ensuring they are placed in the correct assigned locations. You will operate motorized equipment including Electric Pallet Jacks while ensuring that you safely and accurately move product within the warehouse. Schedule:

• Sunday: 12pm - Finish

• Monday - Friday: 2pm - Finish

Pay:

• Starting wage is$23.75/hour
• Performance Pay: Opportunity to earn up to an extra $11 per hour depending on performance metrics and hourly case volume.
• Incentive Pay: Maintain a 100% picking rate for two consecutive weeks and your pay increases to $25.50 per hour.
• $1.25/hr for 2nd Shift
• $2.00/hr for Weekends
• $2.00/hr for Freezer environment (if applicable)

Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• Warehouse experience selecting is preferred but not required
• Lifting objects weighing from less than 20 to 60lbs consistently
• Occasionally pushing, reaching, pulling, and gripping
• Must have the ability to work in various temperatures
• Available for work on Sundays

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• Identify the pick locations and safely pick the items
• Inspects assigned equipment for safety issues
• Picks the correct item and quantity, checking UPC’s or item descriptions
• Places labels on the side of the cases
• Shrink wraps and labels with correct truck, stop and other required information.
• Stages pallets in appropriate bay and builds a stable pallet
• Immediately informs a supervisor or manager of any potential safety threats, any violation of company policy, keeps area clean and debris out of work area
• Operates pallet jack/pushcart in a safe and efficient manner
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available
