Job description

Are you motivated to deliver impressive results and customer service? Do you enjoy working with people? Then consider joining us as a Warehouse Associate at our site in Jupiter, Florida.

Your Role

You will perform multiple warehouse activities to ensure the full and efficient operation of the distribution center such as receiving, sorting, picking, packing, and shipping orders. You will work Tuesday - Friday, 1:00 pm - 9:30 pm and Saturday 8:00 am - 4:30 pm and will be paid weekly at $18.00 per hour.

Your Responsibilities

• Verify and receive materials into inventory.
• Verify required inbound paperwork with drivers, ensuring that all products are properly counted.
• Ensure inbound and outbound deliveries are accurate and free of damage.
• Mark and inventory packages for storage or transit.
• May also include palletizing and shrink-wrapping.
• Duties may include receiving, checking, and storing.
• May be required to stack pallets and repeatedly lift up to fifty (50) pounds.
• Follow necessary procedures when receiving dangerous goods and store these shipments in the designated section of the warehouse.
• Understand and adhere to local, state, and federal regulations inclusive, but not limited, to OSHA, DOT, EPA, and other government agencies. Certification is required to handle any hazardous material(s).
• If applicable, process and handle ‘bonded’ cargo according to existing guidelines.
• Use material handling (MH) equipment to unload incoming materials.
• Use MH equipment to move and store materials within the warehouse.
• Use MH equipment to pick, verify, and pack orders according to standard practice.
• Use MH equipment or other designated means to load goods into trailers or other designated transport vehicles for distribution.
• Deliver a high level of service to customers.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Continuous Improvement.

Your Skills and Experiences

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• At least 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment.
• Can walk or stand for extended periods of time while wearing steel toe or composite toe shoes in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Basic math skills.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
