Job summary

Porter Pipe & Supply, located in Indianapolis, Indiana, is hiring a Warehouse Associate for the 2nd shift. The role is full-time, with hours Monday through Friday starting at 3:00 pm, and involves receiving, picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control to support our warehouse operations.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of warehouse experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Forklift experience is a plus.

What You’ll Do:

• Unload trucks and accurately receive merchandise, matching bills of lading to purchase orders.
• Accurately pick, pack, and load customer orders onto delivery vehicles.
• Process customer orders, shipping requests, and requisitions with attention to detail.
• Move and organize materials within the warehouse according to company standards.
• Prepare and verify shipping documents, ensuring accuracy and proper routing.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and report any discrepancies.
• Keep the warehouse and office areas clean and organized.
• Adhere to safety standards and perform additional duties as needed.
