Job summary

Penske Logistics is seeking warehouse associates to join our Plainfield, IN team. This role is ideal for safety‑ conscious individuals with a pleasant, outgoing attitude who want to excel in a fast‑paced warehouse environment.

Shifts are 2nd shift, Monday through Friday, 6:00 PM to 2:30 AM, with pay of $22.85 per hour plus a $1.00 shift differential. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401K, and paid time off.

Steel‑toe shoes and safety vests are required on the warehouse floor. As part of this team, you will sort loose cartons of auto parts by label, sorted cartons, cages, gaylords, loose parts and stage them in area‑specific lanes, with scanning integrated into our loading process. We prioritize your safety with monthly safety ergonomic training and enforce a 5‑point attendance policy to ensure reliability and accountability.

Job Responsibilities

Qualifications

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions required.
• Ability to work independently, customer service orientation, dealing with others, multi‑tasking, organizational skills, flexibility, excellent with numbers and time management skills required.
• Flexible to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non‑climate‑controlled conditions required.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job.
• Willingness to work the required schedule and at the specific location.
• Complete a Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
