Job summary

Advance Auto Parts is recruiting DC/Warehouse Associates in Gastonia, NC to pick, pack and stage parts, and to operate RF scanners and material-handling equipment. You will help move boxes throughout the distribution center and maintain a neat, hazard-free workspace.

Responsibilities include using a RF unit, marking pallets with store information, entering records, and supporting the store network. Evening and weekend shifts may be required; candidate must be 18+ with a GED or high school

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Eligible to work in the United States.
• Ability to work various shifts, overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Read and interpret safety rules and procedure manuals.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and stage parts in the distribution center.

Job DescriptionOur DC/Warehouse Associates are a vital part of our warehouse and assist in, but not limited to;pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devise (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center.ResponsibilitiesMarks pallets with identifying store information.Uses the computer / RF to enter records.Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)Uses voice picking systemKeeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F.
