Job summary

Advance Auto Parts in Thomson, GA is hiring DC/Warehouse Associates to pick, pack and stage parts in a fast-paced distribution center. You will operate RF scanners, a voice picking system and other warehouse equipment, and ensure accurate record entry.

Applicants must be 18+, have a GED or high school diploma, and be able to work various shifts, weekends and holidays. This position requires physical ability to lift up to 100 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• GED/HS diploma required or equivalent.
• Able to read and interpret safety rules, instructions and procedures.
• Ability to work on varied shifts, including overtime, weekends, and holidays.
• Basic math: add/subtract/multiply/divide in all units of measure.

Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and stage parts in a distribution center.
• Enter records using RF devices and stock management systems.
• Operate warehouse equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.).
• Maintain a neat, hazard-free work area and comply with safety rules.
• Mark pallets with identifying information and ensure accurate labeling.

Job DescriptionOur DC/Warehouse Associates are a vital part of our warehouse and assist in, but not limited to;pick pack and stage parts, utilize hand-held radio frequency devise (RF scanners), and move boxes throughout the distribution center.ResponsibilitiesMarks pallets with identifying store information.Uses the computer / RF to enter records.Uses equipment (pallet jack, forklift, etc.)Uses voice picking systemKeeps work area neat, clean and hazard free.Will be required to use a hand held radio frequency device (R.F.
