Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production by moving work-in-progress materials, staging finished goods, packing, inspecting and banding on the shop floor.

The role includes truck loading, receiving raw materials and preparing inventory. Shift is 3:00pm–11:30pm, Monday through Friday, offering a stable, safety-focused work environment with competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required.
• Mechanically inclined, safety- and quality-conscious.
• Knowledge of crane operation and lifting devices beneficial.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes, including movement of WIP and finish goods on the shop floor.
• Assist with in-house secondary operations, packing, inspection and banding.
• Load trucks and handle raw material receiving and preparation.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, packing, inspecting and banding, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management.

Shift: 3:00pm- 11:30pm Monday-Friday

Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.
