Job summary

Olympic Steel is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support daily warehouse operations. You will participate in packaging, banding, pallet assembly, and related tasks in a hands-on role within a busy facility.

The position offers growth opportunities as you learn and advance into specialized warehouse roles and contribute to safe, efficient operations within the team.

Qualifications

• Dependable work experience (2 yrs) required or strongly preferred.
• Experience in manufacturing/warehouse environments is advantageous.
• Machine handling experience is a plus but not required.
• Slitter experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring and packing.

Responsibilities

• Operate packaging line and assist with packaging tasks.
• Assemble pallets and prepare materials for shipment.
• Use basic tools such as a table saw and nail gun as needed.
• Support efficient warehouse operations and safety standards.

Job Description

The Warehouse Associate plays a key role in keeping our operations running smoothly and efficiently. In this hands-on position, you’ll gain experience across multiple areas of the warehouse - everything from packaging and banding to operating the packaging line, using a table saw, assembling pallets, and working with a nail gun.
