Job summary

Olympic Steel in Georgia is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support production on first shift (Monday-Thursday). You'll assist with material movement, machine support, and warehousing tasks on the production floor.

Responsibilities include receiving raw materials, staging finished goods, loading trucks, and preparing materials for processes. We're seeking mechanically inclined individuals who prioritize safety and quality, with basic computer skills and crane operation knowledge.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety/quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.

Responsibilities

• Support production processes on the floor and assist with machine tasks.
• Move work-in-progress material and perform in-house secondary operations.
• Stage finished goods, load trucks, and assist with material receiving and preparation.

Job Description:

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for all job tasks required to support production processes. These activities may include machine support, movement of work-in-progress material on the production floor, in-house secondary operations, finished goods staging, truck loading, raw material receiving and raw material and finished goods preparation and management. THis position is 1st Shift Monday - Thursday.

Qualifications:

• High School or GED equivalent.
• Mechanically inclined, production oriented, and safety and quality conscious.
• General knowledge of crane operation and ancillary lifting devices.
• Working knowledge of general computer programs.
