Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands, Inc. is hiring for a full-time general labor/warehouse role in Texas. Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour for a shift from 7:30 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday.

The role involves loading/unloading materials, operating a forklift and overhead crane, inventory tasks, and safety compliance. Candidates must be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and be able to obtain forklift/ crane certification.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload materials and products to support the branch location and operate forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools.
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage; assist coworkers and customers.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment.
• Assist with inventory management including daily ERP updates.

Job Description

JOB DETAILS

Base pay starts at $18.00 per hour

Shift:7:30 AM – 5:00 PM - Monday – Friday

Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day-to-day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damage. Assist co-workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment

• High school diploma or GED required
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying
