Job summary

Cardinal Health is seeking a warehouse associate in Elgin, IL to perform picking, packing, and replenishment of medical supplies. You will help set up the day shift facility and coordinate pickups with LTL carriers, supporting a smooth daily workflow.

The role emphasizes accuracy, basic computer use, and adherence to quality guidelines, with overtime possible to meet customer needs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED preferred.
• Good written communication skills.
• 1-2 years experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience desired.
• PIT equipment experience preferred.

Job description

Shift: 5:00am-1:30 pm (or until the work is complete) Monday-Friday. Must have the flexibility to work overtime as necessary due to the needs of our customers.

What Warehouse Operations contributes to Cardinal Health

Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing/controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of product. This may include functions of receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, delivery, etc. Also responsible for the efficient flow of products from the point of product receipt from vendors to the shipment of products (via prescribed service parameters) to a variety of internal and external customers.

Anticipated hourly range: $20.50/hr - $23.58/hr.
