Job Title: Warehouse Associate
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Location: Manufacturing Plant
The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a variety of warehouse operations including packing, pulling and checking customer orders, replenishment, shipping and receiving materials, and general material handling. This role requires the completion of all necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and procedures.
Unload incoming goods and materials; enter data into warehouse systems, label, and store materials appropriately.
Separate customer orders, pull and stage them for shipment.
Repack materials as needed to meet customer specifications.
Create boxes, pack, label, and organize materials for storage or shipment.
Ensure all products are properly labeled.
Perform transactions in designated systems related to receiving and shipping.
Participate in cycle counts; enter, verify, and adjust inventory information as necessary.
Inspect and complete preventative maintenance checklists for forklifts and other machinery.
Maintain compliance with all safety policies, work rules, and regulations.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area (housekeeping standards).
Handle the accumulation, disposal, and transportation of hazardous waste if required. Must complete required RCRA waste management training.
Operate forklifts, locomotives, track-mobiles, or other heavy-duty material movers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Regularly required to use hands for handling and operating tools and equipment.
Frequent standing, walking, sitting, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, and foot operation of machines.
Occasional climbing and balancing.
Frequently lift and/or move up to 55 pounds; occasionally move over 250 pounds.
Vision requirements include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses, gloves, hard hats, respirators, face shields, hearing protection, chemical suits, aprons, and dust masks as dictated by work conditions.
Work environment is primarily indoors with high noise levels.
