Job summary

Cornerstone Building Brands is seeking a warehouse associate for its Fortify Building Solutions unit in the Fort Worth area. The role involves loading and unloading materials, operating a forklift and overhead crane, and maintaining inventory accuracy with ERP updates.

You will work on a 1st shift schedule with a 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM shift. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, the ability to obtain forklift and crane certifications, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• A combination of education and experience may be qualifying.
• Must be able to become certified to operate a forklift vehicle and overhead crane.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift, overhead crane, and construction tools to load and unload materials.
• Complete work assignments and orders safely, accurately, and on time.
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment for safety and quality.
• Assist with inventory management and daily ERP updates.
• Maintain a clean, organized work environment and move inventory as needed.
• Follow all safety requirements and wear required PPE.

Base pay rate is $19.00 per hour

1st Shift: 7:00AM - 4:00PM

This position sits within our Fortify Building Solutions business, which serves the pre‑engineered metal buildings, metal roof and wall systems, and steel building components industry.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform material and product loading and unloading activities to support the branch location. In their day‑to‑day duties, they operate a forklift, overhead crane and construction tools
• Complete work assignments and customer orders safely, accurately, timely and without damageAssist co‑workers and customers
• Inspect materials, products, machinery, tools and equipment
• Assist with inventory management activities including daily updates to the ERP system
• Maintain a clean and orderly work environment
• Assist in the movement of inventory within and among workstations and areas
• Comply with all safety requirements and use applicable personal protective equipment
