Job summary

Living Spaces is seeking a Warehouse Associate 1 to support inbound and outbound operations, unload trailers, and organize stock. You will use RF scanners and pallet jacks to ensure accurate order fulfillment and proper labeling for outgoing items.

Responsibilities

• Unload trailers by hand and organize stock.

• Verify outbound items match invoices before loading.
• Assemble outbound orders for delivery and maintain accuracy.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and comply with OSHA standards.

Position SummaryThe Warehouse Associate 1 is responsible for carrying out the logistics of receiving, processing, storing and sending inventory according to purchase orders and shipping schedules. Their duties include loading orders onto trucks and organizing incoming stock and putting the appropriate labels on outgoing items.Position DescriptionEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Support the inbound and outbound operationUnload trailers by handMove furniture with dollies and pallet jacksEnsure outbound picked furniture matches invoice before loading into contractor’s vehicle for deliveryEnsure that outbound furniture does not have any damages or flawsPrepare customers’ orders monitors and ensures that outbound furniture is properly assembledUse proper lifting techniques: lift, push, stooping twisting, bendingUse RF Scanners to scan labels to ensure products are shipped to the right destination.Must be able to consistently lift/move products up to 100 lbs.Conduct operations in compliance with OSHA standardsMaintain a clean and organized workspaceMeet company standards for productivityAble to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidaysAble to work in a warehouse environment, withstanding climate changesQualificationsEducation/Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalent. 1-2 years' experience in a fast paced warehouse environment. Pay will be determined by several factors, including, but not limited to: applicant's education, relevant work experience, knowledge, applicable and relevant skills and abilities, market demand, Company budget, as well as internal equity and alignment with geographic market data.
