Job summary

Stickney Hill Dairy in Rockville, MN is seeking a reliable Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our on-site team. Material Handler / Forklift Operator

Location: Rockville, MN (On-site)

Pay: From $22.00/hour

Job Type: Full-time

We are looking for a reliable, safety-focused Material Handler / Forklift Operator to join our team in Rockville, MN. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting production by managing inventory, operating warehouse equipment, and ensuring accurate receiving and distribution across our manufacturing and cold storage facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Equipment Operation & Safety: Safely operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and delivery vehicles; complete daily equipment pre-checks; maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse.
• Inventory & Material Flow: Receive incoming materials, stage raw materials/consumables for production, verify inventory counts, and coordinate incoming/outgoing shipments.
• Quality & Documentation: Interpret purchase orders, pallet tags, and Bills of Lading (BOLs); conduct regular quality and accuracy checks on finished goods.
• Warehouse Maintenance: Assist in optimizing layout, repalletizing/labeling finished goods, and performing basic sanitation of warehouse equipment.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience operating forklifts and electric pallet jacks safely.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to read and verify shipping/receiving documents (BOLs, POs, pallet tags).
• Basic computer proficiency, including simple navigation in Microsoft Excel.
• Clear communication skills and a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet in a fast-paced environment.
• Must obtain and maintain an active MN DOT medical card (employer-paid).
• Flexibility for occasional weekend shifts when production requires.
