Job summary

Eliason Corporation is seeking an experienced Material Handler and Forklift Driver for our Door Engineering facility in Mankato, Minnesota. This on-site role supports receiving, material movement, production support and shipping during core hours, Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. Responsibilities include safely operating forklifts and related equipment, inspecting and processing incoming materials, coordinating with stock control, and helping maintain a clean, organized workspace

Qualifications

• 4+ years of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Prior forklift experience with specified equipment.
• Able to lift up to 45 lbs.
• Read and interpret work orders and shipping documents.
• On-site work during core schedule hours.
• Commitment to safety and accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and process incoming materials and products.
• Safely operate material handling equipment (forklift, pallet jack, lift truck, 2-wheeler).
• Store, move, pick, and stage materials to support production and customer shipments.
• Read and interpret work orders and shipping documents to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized workspace (including 5S activities).
• Support material flow through production, including basic assembly and component handling as needed.
• Perform material transactions, support inventory accuracy (cycle counts, physical inventory), and communicate stock needs.
• Coordinate with purchasing and supply chain to maintain material availability.
• Move materials on scheduled intervals to designated areas.
• Cross-train across warehouse and production functions as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.

This is a hands-on, on-site role with broad responsibilities across receiving, material movement, production support and shipping.

Requirements

• Prior forklift experience required (please specify types of equipment operated).
• 4+ years of manufacturing, warehouse, or related experience preferred.
• Ability to safely operate warehouse equipment and follow safety procedures.
• Experience reading work orders and shipping documents.
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and reliability.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs and stand for extended periods (up to 4 hours at a time).
• Basic computer skills; MS Office experience preferred.
• Ability to read and write in English.
• Ability to work on-site during scheduled hours.
