ManpowerGroup is seeking a Warehouse Associate for a fast-paced distribution center in Windsor, CT. You will load/unload merchandise, verify items, and assist with inventory accuracy in daily order fulfillment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload merchandise, move items between areas, and operate warehouse equipment.

• Operate equipment to move/store merchandise and replenish pick areas as needed.
• Support order fulfillment by placing merchandise on conveyors and trailers.

Our client, a fast-paced distribution environment, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join their team. As a Warehouse Associate, you will be part of the distribution operations team supporting daily order fulfillment and inventory accuracy. The ideal candidate will have a strong sense of responsibility, comfort working in a physically active role, and the ability to follow procedures consistently, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Windsor, CT

Pay Range:

Shift: 1st Mon-Thur 5:30am-4pm (4 days, 10hrs); 3rd Fri, Sat, Sun 5am-5:30pm (3 days, 12hrs); 4th Sun-Tues 5pm-5:30am (3 days, 12hrs); 5th Wed-Fri 5pm-5:30am (3 days, 12hrs)

What's the Job?

• Load and unload merchandise, move items from area to area, and use conveyors or other equipment throughout the distribution center.

• Check, verify, and audit merchandise, entering data into remote data terminals to help ensure orders are correct and items are not damaged.

• Identify, separate, label, and palletize merchandise for relocation to the appropriate distribution center area.

• Operate equipment to move and store merchandise, including replenishing pick areas based on replenishment screens or requests.

• Support order fulfillment by selecting and moving merchandise to the correct conveyor, slot, pallet, or box; load merchandise onto trailers and scan non-conveyable or non-diverted items before loading.

• Ability to perform essential warehouse tasks including loading/unloading, moving merchandise, and using material-handling equipment safely.

• Strong attention to detail to verify shipment accuracy, confirm items are not damaged, and ensure correct trailer loading.

• Comfort using remote data terminals and completing required scanning and data entry tasks.

• Ability to follow department procedures and perform varied duties as assigned within the distribution center.

• Willingness to work scheduled shifts and maintain consistent productivity in a fast-moving environment.
