Job summary

STAline Waterworks, a Charlotte, NC based distributor, is seeking a Warehouse Associate to join our team. Read sales orders, pick, pack and prepare customer orders for delivery while ensuring safety and accuracy in a fast-paced warehouse.

The ideal candidate has forklift experience, a positive attitude and reliable transportation. You will transfer materials, assist with inventory, and support sales and branch management to serve our customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year experience operating a forklift in a warehouse.
• Ability to work cooperatively with others.
• Reliable transportation to and from work.
• A positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Read sales orders to determine items to be picked, packed, and/or shipped.
• Assemble customer orders from stock and prepare them for delivery.
• Properly stack, pack, and/or load materials to prevent product damage during shipment.
• Transfer materials and items from receiving to storage racks or other designated areas.
• Use computer or scanning device to enter records, track materials, and control inventory.
• Drive forklift to transport materials.
• Load and unload materials at the warehouse as necessary.
• Assist with general housekeeping of the warehouse and branch facility.
• Perform customer service duties as requested to support client’s needs.
• Comply with safe work habits established by the company.
• Support the Inside Sales, Outside Sales, and Branch Management teams as needed.
