Position Purpose:
- Starting pay: $26.00/hr
- Sunday through Wednesday 6:00am
- This position will be based out of Alliance, TX in Fort Worth, TX
Position Overview:
Warehouse associates are the foundation of our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Hybrid associate, you will operate various material handling equipment, including forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, etc. Your duties will include order selection, product put away, and truck loading.
The associate transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage in the appropriate slots, on the multi-level racks in the assigned warehouse area, and replenishes/re-stocks pick slots in a timely manner, ensuring all safety, GMP, and quality standards are met. Functions as a team member within the department and organization, performing duties to serve the company effectively.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Operation of equipment including Pallet Jacks, Reach trucks, Scissor lifts, and RF devices.
- Verify incoming shipments against PO and shipping documents for accuracy. Inspect load quality for damage or discrepancies and report issues to supervisors, while safely unloading trucks.
- Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock, rotate stock, and remove outdated inventory per company policy.
- Inspect, stack, and move pallets with pallet jacks or forklifts to storage areas.
- Safely load trucks with products, ensuring secure placement and organization.
- Select customer orders accurately by moving cases by hand and stacking them onto outbound pallets.
- Follow all safety policies, work methods, and procedures.
- Ensure a safe work area, report unsafe conditions immediately.
- Review work schedule, perform safety checks, and prepare for operations.
- Use all required PPE and safety gear.
- Meet productivity and accuracy standards.
- Perform housekeeping duties as needed.
- Secure equipment and complete paperwork at shift end.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or equivalent
- 6+ months of warehouse/distribution experience
- 6+ months of forklift and/or pallet jack operation
- Ability to work scheduled times and overtime
- Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly, lifting between 10-35 pounds, up to 60-90 pounds depending on location
- Ability to work in multi-temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry)
- Pass post-offer drug test and criminal background check
