Position Title: Warehouse Associate

Wage: $18/hour

Shift: 1st

Hours: 7am-5pm

Job Description

QPS Employment is seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join a team in Waterloo, IA. The role involves preparing customer orders, ensuring products are picked, packed, and ready for delivery. The successful candidate will work with various construction materials and operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other tools to move products efficiently within the warehouse. Motivated, safety-conscious individuals with forklift experience are encouraged to apply. This is an entry-level position with the potential for permanent hire.

Responsibilities

1. Read work order slips to determine items to be picked.
2. Perform order picking of construction materials (such as buckets, doors, gutters, shingles, etc.) using a forklift (after training) and manually.
3. Build and secure pallets of products, and shrink-wrap completed pallets for delivery.
4. Use a pallet jack to move pallets to the dock doors for customer pickups or delivery.

Requirements

1. Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
2. Ability to stand and be on your feet for the entire shift.
3. Minimum of 1 year of forklift experience.
