Responsibilities include operating equipment, processing pick tickets, organizing stock, and maintaining a clean, safe workspace while supporting team members and reporting any damages.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hose and Fittings knowledge is preferred, but not required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.
• Ability to read a tape measure preferred.
• Good communication, organizational, and time management skills.
• Ability to adapt to and work in a variety of situations to support the company’s goals.
• Must be comfortable lifting heavy items and using warehouse machinery.

Responsibilities

• Operate assembly equipment with proper training.
• Prepare orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area.
• Sort materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to standards.
• Maintain inventory by recording stock locations and quantities picked; report discrepancies.
• Keep work environment clean and orderly; maintain safety and organization.
• Operate warehouse machinery with proper training.
• Store items in an orderly manner in warehouse, tool rooms, or supply rooms.
• Inspect stock items for wear or defects and report damages.

Summary

A Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing an array of functions that include picking and filling orders, measuring and cutting a variety of hoses, and managing/organizing stock in the warehouse.

Essential Functions

• Operate assembly equipment with proper training
• Prepare orders by processing pick tickets; pulling materials; packing boxes; placing orders in delivery area
• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards
• Maintains inventory by collecting stock location orders, recording amounts of materials picked and noting discrepancies
• Maintain safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves and work stations neat; sweep and organize warehouse and work area for orderliness at all times
• Operate materials handling equipment with proper training
• Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouse, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas
• Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damages to supervisors
• Provide assistance or direction to other warehouse employees

Experience, Education and Skills

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
• Hose and Fittings product knowledge is preferred, but not required
