Position Overview:

We are looking for an energetic and enthusiastic Warehouse Operative to join our team. This role reports to the Warehouse Manager/Team Leader.

Responsibilities:
  • Meet the Company’s Quality, Health & Safety, and Environmental policies at all times.
  • Understand, develop, and promote the company's objectives, participating enthusiastically to achieve and exceed them.
  • Conduct regular reviews with line management and relevant personnel.
  • Agree on Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) with management and monitor performance accordingly.
  • Ensure understanding of work requirements and receive supervised training as per company standards.
  • Confirm picked items match the notes, ensuring security and undamaged delivery.
  • Arrange for certification issuance as per picking notes.
  • Pack items to retain their identity, especially when sending different manufacturers or sizes together.
  • Load goods for dispatch within deadlines.
  • Check for damaged labels and request replacements.
  • Cover for envoys when required, holding relevant licenses.
  • Unload goods received, verify against purchase orders, and document appropriately.
  • Book products onto the system, batch as needed, and pass samples and paperwork to inspection.
  • Store goods in designated locations or transfer to other operations.
  • Confirm receipt of accompanying documentation.
  • Repackage bulk products into smaller quantities as required.
  • Operate boxing machines and move boxed goods to storage.
  • Resolve picking discrepancies and advise management of stock outages.
Skills and Competences:
  • Previous warehouse experience, ideally in a distribution center.
  • Forklift license or MHE training preferred.
  • Ability to work at heights.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Focus on results, speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Flexible, team-oriented attitude with good communication skills.
  • Customer service focus, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Manual handling ability to lift up to 20kg.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt across all warehouse duties.
  • Flexibility to work on a three-shift pattern (AM/PM).
