Warehouse Associates are responsible for managing the logistics of shipping and receiving, processing, storing, and inventory management according to purchase orders, as well as filling and shipping orders received from customers.
Essential Functions
- Ensure all shipping orders are picked, packed, and secured for delivery.
- Conduct annual inventory counts to maintain accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with procurement staff to reorder damaged or undeliverable merchandise.
- Communicate with management regarding merchandise that cannot be located.
Job Responsibilities
- Inspect outgoing packages for security and proper packaging.
- Restock shelves with weekly received merchandise.
- Document and scan incoming merchandise for accurate location tracking.
- Unpack shipments and verify contents against purchase orders.
- Label deliveries and assign them to their designated locations or customer orders.
- Verify delivery addresses and shipping methods for accuracy to ensure timely delivery (e.g., UPS Ground, UPS Express, FedEx, DHL).
- Inspect merchandise for damages and notify suppliers or shippers if damages are found.
- Load trucks securely to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, restock packing materials, and remove trip hazards.

Experience
- High School Diploma or GED.
- At least 1 year of warehouse experience required.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Current Forklift License.
