Job description

Innovate Consulting is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Associate to join one of our rapidly growing industrial distribution clients supporting large-scale commercial, manufacturing, and infrastructure projects throughout the region. This role is long-term/indefinite contract based position and will be onsite in Vernon, TX!

This associate will work alongside a dynamic team to perform various tasks related to order fulfillment, packaging, stocking, loading, unloading, and maintaining the overall organization and safety of the warehouse environment. The ideal candidate will be dependable, punctual, team-oriented, and motivated to contribute in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and stock industrial and electrical materials.
• Review orders, pull requested items from inventory, verify accuracy, and prepare shipments for delivery or pickup.
• Assist with loading and unloading trucks and incoming deliveries.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with cycle counts as needed.
• Follow warehouse processes, procedures, and direction from warehouse leadership.
• Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Adhere to all established safety standards and operational protocols.
• Provide excellent service and communication to internal teams, customers, vendors, and logistics partners.
• Communicate inventory discrepancies, shipment issues, or operational concerns to leadership in a timely manner.
• Support additional warehouse and operational duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Ability to operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks, hand trucks, and forklifts.
• Strong organizational, reading, and communication skills.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, or industrial supply experience preferred.
• ERP or inventory management software experience is a plus.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to regularly lift and move up to 40 lbs.
• Comfortable working in warehouse environments that may not always be climate controlled and can include heat and humidity.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and move throughout the shift.
• Requires consistent movement, manual dexterity, coordination, and stamina in a fast-paced warehouse setting.
