Job summary

Triad-Technologies-LL seeks a dedicated shipping/receiving associate to verify, prepare, and ship orders. This full-time role runs Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm, with responsibilities including loading/unloading, labeling, and inventory upkeep.

The ideal candidate has a GED and 6 months to 1 year of related experience, strong math and detail orientation, and the ability to lift 50–75 lbs and use basic hand/power tools. Forklift certification is trainable on the job.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming/outgoing shipments against bills of lading and orders.
• Load and unload trucks; move items; assemble and pack as needed.
• Affix labels; prepare containers; inspect for damage or shortages.
• Maintain inventory of shipping materials; route items to proper locations.
• Occasionally make local deliveries; perform related duties as assigned.

Job description

Verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment. This is a full-time position, M-F, 8am-5pm.Review and prioritize daily shipping orders when received.Pull all parts as indicated on the shipping orders, assemble and other components if necessary.If required, call the freight carrier indicated on the shipping order and complete any paperwork that the carrier may require.Load and unload trucks as necessary. Inspect containers and material reporting any damage or missing items noticed.Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders or other records.Determines method of shipment.Affixes shipping labels on packed boxes.Assembles cardboard containers or selects preassembled containers.Inserts items into containers, binds the container with the appropriate tape.Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, records damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify any shortages.Routes items to appropriate location.Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications.Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies.Make product deliveries to local customers on occasionOther duties as assigned.GED; and 6 months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experienceReads and follow written work instructionsPossess strong mathematical skills,Able to use standard hand and power toolsMust be able to lift 50-75 lbs.Ability to become forklift certified (we can train)Excellent attention to detail
