The True Blue Company, LLC is hiring Warehouse Associates in Union City, CA, to join a team focused on inventory movement, packing, and shipping. Responsibilities include putting away stock, order picking, packing, and ERP-based shipping with SAP experience valued.

The role requires working 8-hour shifts across all shifts, including overtime and weekends. You will operate forklifts and related equipment, perform data entry, and help maintain accurate inventory records.

Warehouse Associates must have the ability to work and communicate in a team environment, sharing all team activities. Activities include putting inventory away in specific locations, pulling inventory according to picking instructions, boxing, packaging orders, and shipping orders, preparing truck manifests, and the transportation of material from manufacturing to distribution. Supporting these activities, you will be required to operate a variety of equipment, including a forklift, bobtail, and order picking equipment to heights of 20 feet, spooling, and boxing equipment. Team members will also be expected to work in a variety of areas and take initiative to flow to the area of need. All team members shall be detail-oriented with the ability to continuously refer to alphanumeric part numbers.

Job Responsibilities

• Data Entry Required - Typically 2.5 hours, mixed throughout the day.
• Put away - Returning product to the shelf (rack). Requires an estimated combination of 80% forklift use and 20% hand stacking boxes weighing 10 to 110 pounds. Heavy boxes are not manually lifted, but rather repositioned without lifting onto a pallet or shelf. Use of RF equipment.
• Picking - Removing lightweight (<40 lb.) components from storage shelves at higher frequency using an order picker at heights up to 20 feet above grade. E-Reels (boxed) pulled with forklift on pallet and transferred to packing transition point. Pneumatic hoist is available as needed. E-reel boxes are labeled with weight.
• Packing - includes stacking e-reels (10 to 110 lb.) with pneumatic hoist and using lift tables at transition points. Also includes manually placing small items into boxes and overpacking into larger cartons.
• Shipping - Primarily labeling and processing shipments in the ERP system. Light computer work is required to process a shipment using a combination of mouse clicks (59%), scans (5%), and keystrokes (36%). On average, 20 to 50 shipments are processed per day, per shipping operator. An average shipment takes 1 minute to process.
• Spooling - Transferring e-reels (10-110 lb.) from pallets to pay-off equipment using a pneumatic hoist. Manually traversing up to 20 cuts (~3 minutes per cut) a day. This requires standing and light cable guidance onto a smaller reel. Transfer finished e-reels into boxes with pneumatic hoist.
• Staging - Finished shipment staged by forklift, hand-stack, and/or use of pneumatic hoist onto pallets.
• Work in SAP or equivalent work in a complex ERP system desirable
• Clear verbal and written communication required
• Basic arithmetic skills and recording of department metrics
• Must be self-starting and possess fair computer skills (Word, Excel, and SAP a plus)
• Experience driving material handling equipment: order picker, joey, stand-up and sit-down forklift.
• Frequent use of material handling equipment throughout the day.
• Must be able to stand for an entire shift of 8 hours, work overtime, and work weekends to meet business demands
