Description

Daikin Comfort Technologies Distribution, Inc. is seeking a professional, skilled individual for our Warehouse Associate position at our Tyler, TX branch. The Warehouse Associate is responsible for off-loading, putting away, picking, and staging equipment and parts, while providing professional customer service to all internal and external customers. The role involves managing the movement of materials within the warehouse, maintaining overall appearance, and adhering to safety protocols.

Job Details

Responsibilities include:

• Safely operating forklift and warehouse equipment to load, unload, and transfer materials without damage.
• Receiving items per procedure and stocking in assigned locations.
• Maintaining inventory and conducting cycle counts.
• Completing Will Calls accurately and timely.
• Ensuring proper paperwork and transaction entries.
• Wearing PPE and uniform during shifts, following safety procedures.
• Assisting customers and CSRs as needed.
• Following SOPs, work processes, and company policies.
• Performing additional tasks as required.

Knowledge & Skills

• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Attention to detail and surroundings.
• Basic computer skills for data entry, reports, and orders.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to pass Prove It and driving tests; forklift certification within 30 days.
• Dependability, teamwork, and positive relationships.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled warehouse.

Experience & Education

• At least 1 year of warehouse experience, forklift experience preferred.
• High School diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.

Additional Information

• Work supervised closely; structured work assignments.
• Work involves standard procedures with limited discretion.
• Physical requirements include performing essential responsibilities with or without accommodations.
• Reports to Warehouse Manager.
