Description

The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, product repair, customer pickup, and delivery. This role ensures the proper evaluation and shipping of merchandise and manages inventory flow. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for unloading trailers (Receiving). This is an individual contributor role within a designated unit.

Job Duties

1. Fill order requests, stage merchandise, and load for timely shipments (Shipping).
2. Evaluate products and move to designated zones for processing (Receiving).
3. Move merchandise between dock, stockroom staging area, sales floor, customer pickup or delivery, and remove 'sold' merchandise from the sales floor.
4. Audit and maintain accuracy of the HFM (Hold for Merchandise) staging area.
5. Assemble merchandise and fixtures as needed for seasonal or floor plan changes.
6. Process receipts, monitor, and log inventories.
7. Create documentation for all shipments and deliveries to customers.
8. Provide timely, friendly customer service during pickups and inquiries.
9. Report unsafe or unethical conditions to Store Management.
10. Support a team environment by ensuring timely movement of merchandise to maintain presentation standards.
11. Follow company policies to protect assets during customer pickup procedures.
12. Perform daily housekeeping and cleaning tasks.
13. Assist with additional duties, including cross-trained sales support as needed.
14. Maintain a safe and clean receiving area.
15. Assist customers with loading and securing merchandise in their vehicles.

Requirements

• Must be able to lift and move at least fifty (50) pounds to facilitate merchandise flow and replenishment.
