Job summary

Ally Building Solutions, LLC in Riverview, FL is seeking a Warehouse Associate & Material Handler to join our Tampa team. The role involves pulling orders, receiving shipments, and maintaining the warehouse in a fast-paced environment.

Shift is 5:30am to 3:30pm. Candidates should have forklift experience, the ability to lift up to 30 pounds regularly and 80 pounds occasionally, and work well both independently and with a team.

• Report defective items and maintain warehouse cleanliness.
• Notify Team Lead of shipping/receiving issues.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Ally Building Solutions provides flooring products and quality installation, a full line of window treatments, a wide range of cabinetry options, and design studio solutions to new home builders in greater Orlando, Jacksonville, Tampa Bay, and Fort Myers.

We are looking for an experienced Warehouse Associate & Material Handler to join our Tampa team in our Riverview warehouse. The Material Handler will pick and stage orders, accept incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.

Hours- 5:30am to 3:30pm

Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Responsibilities:

• Accurately pull jobs daily capturing all needed stock and ordered materials.
• Assist with cycle counting of inventory and restock supplies.
• Receive materials ensuring all deliveries are accurate, then document in system.
• Accept, verify, inspect, and record all deliveries according to policy.
• Record, report, and return defective items.
• Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the warehouse area.
• Notify Team Lead of any shipping or receiving issues.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

Warehouse Associate & Material Handler Job Requirements:

• Receiving experience highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of warehouse policies and procedures
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Excellent time management skills
• Basic computer and data entry skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of the team.
• Previous warehouse and forklift experience
• The ability to complete various activities in the warehouse that may require hours of lifting, standing, and carrying.
• The ability to lift and move up to 30 pounds consistently and up to eighty pounds occasionally.
