Job summary

GCC is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Tampa to handle shipping, receiving, and storage of parts and materials. This role supports ISO 9001 processes and participates in continuous improvement under EOHI’s ESOP framework.

Responsibilities include picking, packing, and shipping orders, receiving stock, counting inventory, and ensuring safety compliance while helping other warehouse areas as needed. 100% employee-owned environment with strong team collaboration.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or experience may substitute.
• 3-5 years warehousing or distribution experience preferred.
• UPS World Ship and FEDEX manifesting experience is a plus.
• Experience in a Wireless Warehouse environment is a plus.
• Experience in an ISO 9001 environment is a plus.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the shipping, receiving, and storage of all parts and materials sold and inventoried by the company.

Specific responsibilities:

• Pick, pack, and ship orders.
• Receive Stock Orders.
• Coordinate efforts with Warehouse management to dispose properly of scrapped parts & maintain documentation.
• Participate in physical counts of parts and materials on an annual or as directed basis.
• Assist in determining causes of short- or over-item situations.
• Operate within all parts policies and procedures of GCC.
• Operate safely and follow all safety guidelines.
• Support and participate in the organization’s continual improvement program, to conform to ISO 9001 requirements and understand the implications of not conforming with the Quality Management System.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Training

• High school diploma or GED.
• Experience in lieu of education will be accepted.

Experience:

• 3-5 years of warehousing and distribution experience a plus
• UPS World Ship and FEDEX manifesting experience a plus.
• Wireless Warehouse environment a plus.
• Experience working in an ISO 9001 environment a plus.

Skills Preferred:

• Ability to read and work with intricate part numbers and attention to detail.
• Willingness to be a team player and help out in multiple areas of the warehouse.
• Good physical skills on equipment and an aptitude for manual work.

• Warehousing training in a distribution, manufacturing, or dealership environment.
• Knowledgeable on shipping methods and procedures.
• Basic PC skills a plus.

Physical & Safety Requirements

• Able to sit, bend, stand, and walk 8 – 10 hours per day.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs.Exposure to a production environment.
• Must comply with any safety or PPE requirements.
