Description

The Warehouse Associate position exists to ensure effective movement and management of inventory between the dock, sales floor, product repair, customer pickup, and delivery. This role involves evaluating and shipping merchandise and managing inventory flow. The Warehouse Associate is also responsible for unloading trailers (Receiving) and is an individual contributor within a designated unit.

Job Duties

1. Fill order requests, stage merchandise, and load for timely shipments (Shipping).
2. Evaluate products and move to designated zones for processing (Receiving).
3. Move merchandise between dock, stockroom staging area, sales floor, customer pickup or delivery, and remove 'sold' merchandise from sales floor.
4. Audit and maintain accuracy of HFM (Hold for Merchandise) staging area.
5. Assemble merchandise and fixtures for seasonal flexes or floor plan changes.
6. Process receipts, monitor, and log inventories.
7. Create documentation for shipments and deliveries to customers.
8. Provide timely, attentive, and friendly customer service during pickups and inquiries.
9. Report unsafe or unethical conditions to Store Management.
10. Develop a team environment with the sales floor, ensuring timely movement of merchandise and presentation standards.
11. Follow company policies to protect assets during customer pickups.
12. Perform daily housekeeping, including cleaning and straightening.
13. Perform miscellaneous duties, including assisting as extra sales help when cross-trained.
14. Maintain a safe and clean receiving area.
15. Assist customers by delivering items to their cars, helping load and secure merchandise.
