Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate verifies and records incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines. Work schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 4:30 pm.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and off-loading materials.
• Verifying counts against purchase orders.
• Sorting stock and job materials.
• Checking shipments for damage and noting paperwork.
• Ensuring materials are placed in appropriate areas.
• Staging materials for installation, shipment, or customer pickup.
• Assisting customers with pickup and loading.
• Using company-specific software to maintain accurate inventory.
• Utilizing hand tools, mechanical, and motorized equipment safely.
• Making deliveries as needed.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
• Assisting with special projects and deliveries.

Essential Functions

• Driving box trucks, pickups, or vans.
• Warehouse functions: receiving, shipping, delivery.
• Forklift operation.
• Maintaining paperwork.
• Providing excellent customer service.
• Using computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc.).

Experience & Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Indiana Driver's license.
• Clean driving record.
• Willingness to adhere to routes, schedules, safety procedures, and laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift heavy items throughout the day.
• Attention to detail.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Occasionally lift/move up to 75 lbs, with assistance for more.
• Experience driving box trucks in shipping/receiving/delivery is a plus.
