Job summary

CK Supply Inc. is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pull, prepare, and stage orders for delivery while keeping the warehouse orderly and accurate in counts. You will also assist with receiving shipments and restocking. A strong attention to detail and flexibility with changing demands are essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience in picking, packing, and receiving is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure proper product counts.
• Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
• Must be flexible in responding to changing needs quickly.
• Reading, writing, counting, and basic math skills required.
• Must operate and safely use warehouse equipment.
• Ability to lift up to 65 lbs regularly.
• Ability to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grab, and pull frequently.

Job description

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for pulling, preparing, and staging orders for delivery as well as ensuring the necessary data is entered into the system to complete each order accurately. Additionally, this position will be responsible for helping to keep the warehouse neat and orderly while also moving inventory to restock and maintaining accurate product counts. A strong attention to detail and the ability to be flexible with changing demands are necessary traits to succeed in this role. This position ensures merchandise handling remains a strategic advantage for CK Supply.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure orders and transfers are filled for sales desk and branch stores
• Stage orders for fleet delivery
• Assist in receiving product from vendors as needed

• Report any errors, lost product, or broken materials
• Maintain the physical condition of the warehouse by adhering to the 5S principles
• Assist in reorganization of product as needed for incoming supplies
• Follow all safety guidelines and requirements including proper personal protective equipment

• Other duties, as assigned, within the job classification and business

QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma or equivalent, required
• Previous experience in picking, packing, and receiving a plus
• Strong attention to detail to ensure proper selection of products and counts
• The ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
• Must be flexible in the work demand by adjusting to changing needs quickly and responding promptly to new requests
• Reading, writing, counting, and basic mathematical skills required to accurately complete assigned duties
• Must be able to operate and safely use all necessary equipment located in the Warehouse
• Must be able to lift up to 65 lbs from floor to waist without assistance regularly
• Must be able to walk, stand, stoop, bend, twist, kneel, reach, grab, and pull frequently

WORK ENVIRONMENT

• Work is performed in a non-climate-controlled warehouse; sometimes extreme heat/cold
• Working around dust & dirt
• Handling hazardous materials
