Job Summary

The Warehouse Associate verifies and keeps records on incoming and outgoing shipments and prepares items for shipment within scheduled timelines. Work schedule Monday-Friday 7:30am - 4:30pm.

The Warehouse Associate Is Responsible And Accountable For

• Receiving and Off-loading materials.
• Verifying counts to purchase orders.
• Sorting stock materials from job materials.
• Checking shipments for damage, noting appropriate paperwork.
• Ensuring all material is placed in its appropriate areas.
• Staging of material for installation, shipment, or customer pick-up.
• Assist internal and external customers with pickup and loading.
• Utilizing company-specific software to maintain accurate inventory.
• Utilize hand tools, mechanical equipment, and motorized equipment in a safe and effective manner.
• Make deliveries as needed.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Assist with special projects and deliveries as assigned.

Essential Functions

• Driving box truck, pickup, or van.
• Warehouse functions (receiving, shipping, delivery).
• Forklift operation.
• Maintaining paperwork.
• Great customer service.
• Computer software (Microsoft, inventory software, etc.).

Minimum Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Valid Indiana Driver's license.
• Clean driving record required.
• Willingness to adhere to assigned routes, schedules, safety procedures, and transportation laws.
• Strong time management and customer service skills.
• Ability to walk, drive, and lift and carry heavy items throughout the day.
• Attention to detail.
• Pre-employment drug screen and background check.
• Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more than 75 lbs with assistance.
• Prior experience driving a box truck in a shipping/receiving/delivery environment is a plus.
