Job summary

Sam’s Furniture in Springdale, AR is seeking a motivated individual for warehouse duties. The role involves helping customers, loading pickup orders, stocking inventory, and preparing items for delivery with safety as a priority.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided. The candidate should be able to work weekends and handle lifting and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assembly: minor assembly of products for showroom.
• Safety and housekeeping: keep area organized and clean; handle trash as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience working in an environment that can be cold and hot during different seasons. This person will need to be able to work safely and quickly, standing for long periods while fulfilling orders.

Experience is not required, and on-the-job training is available.

Responsibilities:

• Pick-Up Orders: Assisting customers in loading & securing their pick-up orders
• Inventory: Unloading and back stocking merchandise
• Delivery Prep: Pulling merchandise for outgoing deliveries from warehouse
• Assembly: Slight assembly of product to go to the showroom
• Safety and housekeeping:Ensure a safe warehouse environment by keeping an organized & clean area. Disposing of any trash & perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

• Must be able to bend, stand, reach, pull, lift and carry items in the warehouse
• Must Work Weekends
• No prior experience required
• Basic materials handling skills
• Understanding of safety regulations, including OSHA standards
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and reach trucks (training provided)
• Mechanical knowledge and heavy lifting capability are advantageous
• Willingness to learn inventory management and warehouse operations
