Job summary

ECMD, Inc. is seeking a Crewmember for our Sparta, Tennessee warehouse to operate forklift and order picker equipment, assist with receiving and shipping, stock parts, pick finished goods, and support loading and unloading activities.

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour with a potential to earn up to $20.25 per hour, plus benefits after 90 days, 10 paid holidays, and PTO through My Time program.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry loads as part of warehouse tasks.
• Experience with material handling equipment is a plus.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift/order picker as needed.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

The Crewmember is responsible for various jobs in the warehouse area such as driving a forklift/order picker, tug or other appropriate material handling equipment, receiving and shipping products and supplies, stocking parts, picking finished goods, packaging, stretch wrapping specific parts, delivering parts and supplies to the correct areas throughout the facility, preparing bills of lading, applying barcodes, and loading and unloading trucks.

Physical Demands:

• Ability to occasionally lift and carry loads up to 75 pounds. Heavier materials will require assistance.


• Ability to frequently lift and manipulate parts weighing from 5 to 50 pounds


• Ability to bend, squat, crouch, kneel, and push/pull materials or material handling equipment.
